Fossil mammoth tooth 5 pounds, 8 x 3 inches. A small piece missing one major crack. However at 50,000 years old very stable and in good shape. Suitable for display as is, or could be restored for more value (cracks filled ) Or might b sliced up for knife scales and projects might get be worth $200 a slice. I left as is not knowing what you might want it for. I found this on the Kantishna River interior Alaska. Area has been carbon dated by the university. Excellent root area, if sliced will be gem grade material here with blue green and reds. Can be carved forgot to mention
