Fossil mammoth ivory section 2 pounds. 9 inches x 3 diameter 4 ½ across the curve, 1 ½ thick Not unform thickness, Tapers to ¼ inch . Raw usually means not uniform. #1 grade but not gem perfect grade. Gem perfect for color patterning. Very fine looking alligator pattern. Uses vary possible pistol grips, best as a display as is, but lots of knife scales, sand a window for top scrimshaw work or carving. Keep in mind ‘raw’ is quite a bit less $ then matched uniform sets created. Expect some waste on most cutting projects. All natural Fairly stable solid no soft. Natural cracks to deal with, but think they will not spread. Dried for 4 years.
