Fossil mammoth ivory section 13.2 ounces. 4 ¼ inches tall, 4 across, 7 around the curve thick end ½ inch tapers to ¼ inches in the length. Being raw it is not uniform in any direction except height. Nice tan light colors. All natural not touched. Offered for larger projects specifically the pistol grip market but could be a display, carved, sanded down for scrimshaw. Some areas solid no cracks but as pictures show some delamination which is more normal then not on 10,000 year old material. Some projects may require stabilizing and restoration. Top grade but not gem perfect (at twice this price). I could turn this into 2 sets of pistol grips but I'd restore and stabilize probably. If you could or not I do not know your skill level . Keep in mind raw is quite a bit less $ then matched uniform sets created.  I have videos on stable and restore if you want information on this. working mam ivory
