Fossil mammoth ivory chunk 12.9 pounds. 7 x 4 x 1 inches Thickness varies and mostly it will be the outer ¼ inch of bark with all the value. Does not get any better then this, as good as it gets gem grade above #1 for color and patterning. Bright deep blue with alligator patterns. All natural. Back white could be filled and cut used for other projects as a lower grade. Potential pistol grips maybe back cracks filled will not show. Or any number of projects. Slowly sand surface down to show off the full potential. Blue is in deep cracks so sanding down so contrasting white shows…. Dang the more I look at it the less I want to offer it for sale. This is $1,000 finished pistol grip material. Alaskan from Tanana River.
