Alaska diamond willow 3 3/4 2 1/2 x 1 1/2 inches thick. Not a wood usually sold commercially, known locally in Alaska. Has to much twist and curves to run through a mill! So unique. This block is interesting , has a knot that is ok- having been stabilized but a low price due to not a big piece and having a knot some do not like. I myself work with knots and love it for pattern! Works fine- holds up no stability issues. This could turn for pens of end up as knife scales or turn for hidden tang knife.
