Knife end cap for hidden tang style knife, Solid bronze from barge propeller on the Yukon River. Hand carved custom cast extremely limited castings. oval flat base 2 x 1 inch can be sanded to suit by 1/2 an inch. Glue on, drill hole and pin.

About my custom guards / pommels
I carve the originals, make a mold, and do my own lost wax casting. Metals are recycled. Bronze is from barge propellers that went up and down the Yukon River. Copper is old Nenana 1920's water pipes. My themes are all outdoor, usually wildlife. If people, they are primitive, nothing modern in my designs, though some say cutting edge ideas for knives. I can offer discounts in quantity, or do special orders. I also offer blank blades, and handle materials. I got into the custom guards because there are fancy rivets, inspirational handles, but not a lot of choices out there for cool guards! I began to make my own, now offering them to other knife makers. I try to make them easy to use with flat backs that can be trimmed to fit handle material. Some have a slot for hidden tang, other styles have a slot for scale type. The metal will shape about like wood, no special tools needed beyond what is used on handle material.
