Ironwood block 2lbs. 11 inches long, tapered width 3x4, thickness 1-1.5 inches. Very patterned, resin in cracks secure stable part of patterning. Hand cut, one good flat side rest varies buy 1/16th. Ironwood second hardest wood in the world, so strong almost indestructible. Grows on in parts of Arizona and Mexico, not easy to get. I'm in RTjucson for the Fossil Show doing trades and acquired ironwood from a landscaping friend. This might wqoek for pisrol grips Or large carving projects.
