Early March 2022
I am still in Tucson after the fossil gem show where among other things I sell my custom knives. Knives in general seem to be selling well despite inflation and other issues. My blank blades were in demand the most. I sold woman's knives, the decorative jewelry looking neck knives.

Not much news because I create and work on knives in my bigger shop in Alaska, my home. I will be getting back into this work after April. I hav a lot to do to get ready for Alaska summer tourist season which sounds like is 'on' with Princess tours booking trips.

II will be offering more bank blades for people who need a top quality steel for a survival type knife, but can not afford the fancy handle work.   I prefer not to try to make completed 'low end,' knives because Alaska is one of the highest economies in the world and I cannot compete with 3rd world countries on unskilled  labor. Specialty labor like in the top custom steel is going to work.

I will add more to this over time this is a new page.
March 2022 I just added these new videos to help knife makers deal with fossil material used in knife ehandles
