Fossil mammoth ivory single piece, 3.2 ounces. 5 x 2 x 1/2 inches. In the rough sawed, no sanding done. Save my labor work of sanding and polishing at $65 an hour. You sand it. Offered as. raw material for maybe scrimshaw? Inlays, knife scales pendants crafts etc. Nice white interior material. Back has some layer cracks, normal. Id fill then white glue or leave for character work around etc. Price reflects less than perfect. Good hard material will take good shine. Carves much like a hard wood, do not get it wet while working it.
