Fossil mammoth ivory chunk 5.6 ounces. 4 inches tall. Can get an easy 3/4 inch diameter round from this on lathe. Nice solid cream, with some tan at one end. Might make nice hidden tang knife handle?. My climate is cold and dry, if you are in a different climate it would be wise to put in zip bag and refrigerator a week to allow adjusting. Off Tanana River interior Alaska dried for 2 years.
