Fossil mammoth tooth slice set 4.5 ounces. 3 x 1 ¾ x ¼ inches. Nice even cuts even match good shape. #1 gem grade quality. Tooth cut long way not crossway so unique cut for different look. A little strong going with the grain. Stabilized with super glue a little resin. IN the process of slicing I cover broken unstable teeth with foil cup- pour in resin to hold tooth together so it can be sliced) Resin more on outer edges can cut and avoided but resin blends in. Best to have had experience with teeth before. I may make a video, not done yet. Mostly do not get wet, and do not overhead when sanding. Can be repaired much like the fossil ivory. A very cool and high end sought after rare finished product! This has a mirror shine done.
