All custom 5 x 1.25 inch blade. Made from D2 that was an industrial wood planer blade. D2 is a hard chrome tool steel semi stainless. Double temper Rockwell 58, tested to 300 on brass rod swipe test. (300 strokes on a brass rod and still cuts paper). Alaska poplar wood handle with Alaska birch end cap. Custom cast guard and a inlaid bronze leaf. Freehand acid etched blade has 3 bear tracks on one side, 'Alaska' on the other. Opal chip layer under guard adds a shine. Comes with hand made sheath. Somewhat rustic look, lacks a level of high finish, like guard casting not perfect, so price reduced.
