Meteorite blade for your knife. Over-all 6 inches, Blade 4 x 1 x 1/16th inches. Seymchan Iron 11E. meteorite Siberia Russia about 4 billion years old. Nice patterning, copper plate brings out pattern but if not desired can be buffed off. Note tang is brazed on not welded. My tests show bring can be stronger because of lower temperature used that bonds to the nickel in the meteorite well. Nice cutting edge, Has diamond dust in the metal. (helps edge retention) However will not hold up as well as top knife steels, to much nickel but can be used. Strong should hold up. Put your own handle on this and should be at let a $500 knife. Rare, hard to get, expensive, seldom see a finished blade offered.
